Privacy policy

This privacy policy covers the app Bookmark Audio which has two implementations the paid version and the ad version.

Data generation and storage

As a result of creating bookmarks, categories and subjects, Bookmark Audio creates a database to keep track of chosen files, custom input and selected input. This storage is needed to make Bookmark Sound function properly which means that this data is used for displaying in the app or retrieving, reading and loading a file in the sound player. Bookmark Audio does not share or transfer any of the by the user generated data to an online source. The created database of Bookmark Audio can be viewed when the database is exported to the music folder. The exported database will be put in a created sub folder of the music folder. The export function is located under the data item in the options dialog.

There also is a settings file generated by Bookmark Audio.

 

This file contains the following data:

• The characters of the currently used language

• Length values of the position of grid splitters

• The current path of the music folder

 
All storage will be done in the Local Cache Folder of the app. This Folder is created during the installation of the app.

Generated and stored data should be automatically removed when the app is removed from the system. Removing this data is up to the operating system of the user.

Reading and loading files

Opening audio files and loading these audio files in the media player happen always as a result of an action by the user. As a cause of File usage, file names and file paths can/will be stored in the database.

 

Data transfer

Bookmark Audio can still transfer data to an online source. This can be an ad request which will result in receiving data, the ad for displaying, from an online source. This is an automated Microsoft system. It could be that Bookmark Audio sends data of the behavior and usage of the app to Microsoft. This also is an automated Microsoft system. This type of data transfer, which is sending data, applies to both types of versions of Bookmark Audio. Usually all apps have this kind of behavior.
